April 2009: Scenic Nevada Art Gallery Proudly Presents 4 Women 4 Journeys (Gini Campbell Annis, Jean LeGassick, Renate Neumann, and Patti Christensen Woodard. Come see there work at Secnic Nevada's Art Gallary; were located at Museum Tower 100 West Liberty Street, Suite # 107

The featured artists are:

• Ginni Campbell Annis a popular Reno artist specializing in commissioned oil portraits and still life paintings. She has been a respected instructor for over 15 years, teaching classes from her studio and at Truckee Meadows Community College.
• Jean LeGassick wrote,“There is nothing more exciting for me than to hike, snowshoe, or mule pack to rugged mountain peaks, rocky desert outcroppings, or lonely and remote canyons to capture the beauty of these wild places in plein-air paintings.“
• Renate Neumann was born in southern Germany. She started painting Nevada landscapes in 1976. Her preferred subject is the Nevada outdoors and its people and her favorite medium is oil. She has directed the 50 year old Portrait Society of Reno since 1994. Enjoys painting from nature and life models.
• Patti Christensen Woodard states, “My work is always an introspective response to my emotions about any subject and I enjoy the challenge of creating a story. Reno’s Philharmonic Orchestra musicians and their instruments, figuratives, and whimsical still life have been my recent focus. Switching from the studio to painting en plein air for a more abstract and colorist view of the landscape refreshes my muse.”
